Activity: "Similes"
A simile is a comparison using like or as. What is being compared in the following similes?
"Her heart began knocking at her chest like a fist at a door." p. 95
``He`s as mild as a glass of water.`` p. 89
Write and illustrate your own simile to compare an element of the setting or a character form the novel.
