Div. 13 & 24 365give challenge:  Lemon-aid Stands for Fort Mac

When: Friday, May 13th 2:20 – 3:00 pm.

Cost: $1.00 with all proceeds going to Canadian Red Cross to support Fort McMurray’s state of emergency. Additional donations will also be accepted.

Where: Laity View school (several locations)

Over the past few weeks Laity View students have been participating in the 365give Challenge in an effort to empower students to create change and to encourage global citizenship. Students have come up with ideas on how to give back to others and their communities. This week students from Div. 13 & Div. 24 have decided to give back by raising money for the community of Fort McMurray due to the devastation from the wild fire. All funds will be donated on behalf of the students and families of Laity View to the Canadian Red Cross. Giving is impactful and every little bit helps to create change. Thank you for your support.
