Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered on today's field trip! Thanks for driving and accompanying the classes on our walk around the inlet. Despite the poor weather (thunder and lightning included!) and having to cut the day short, it was a great morning and the kids seemed to have really enjoyed it!

Please bring a bag ( cloth reusable bags work great!) to take home the rest of your school supplies tomorrow!

Field Trip Tomorrow

Tuesday, June 25th Field Trip to Rocky Point Park, Port Moody

Thank you to the following parents for volunteering to drive:

We will be leaving the school at 9 am and depending on the weather conditions returning for noon if it`s raining heavily or 2pm is the weather holds up.

We will be doing a walk around the inlet which is about 45 minutes each way.
Please bring the following items to be carried in a back pack:

snack & a lunch
water bottle
rain coat or umbrella
good shoes for walking
*bathing suit and towel for water park if sunny
 

For Monday

For Monday, please bring your Rocky Point permission form and your photo if you have not already.

Also, art work from the year will be taken home on Monday so bring a large plastic bag if possible to take these items home.

Important Info

- Field Trips:

1. Cultus Lake water slides tomorrow!!! Please be at the school at 8:10 am as the bus will be leaving asap in the morning and is expected to return at approximately 3:30pm. Please remember your sunscreen and be prepared for any weather conditions! We are going rain or shine!

2. Class year end field trip to Rocky Point Park on TUESDAY, JUNE 25th. Please return form by Thursday, June 20th. There is no cost associated with this field trip but parent drivers are required.

Just a reminder that a yellow grade 6/7 band notice was sent home this week with students for next year. Mrs. Linda Jensen from Westview will be holding an information meeting on June 11th at 7pm in the music room at Westview for students and parents interested in participating in this program next year.
